The Professional was probably one of those low budgeted films that I really liked. It was because of the ambiance of the film all throughout. Jean Reno was great, and we got to see Natalie Portman as a little cute child; but what I liked the most is Gary Oldman's portrayal of the antagonist.
Got this from a preview of the 2nd Crazy for Cult gathering that will be on August 22. It's a gathering of different artists each having their takes on reinterpreting classic cult films which includes The Shining, Edward Scissorhands, Friday the 13th, Pulp Fiction, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Clockwork Orange, Monthy Pyton and the Holy Grail, and the list just goes on. Damn, wish I could go there, admission is for free.
