Are there any GNU/Linux user in the house?

    @spidamang

    what player are you using?

    3gp should play seemlessly with sound... try VLC or mplayer.

    ^ pero yung ibang music format may sound? like avi, mpeg, etc?

    i'm using an old thinkpad R31... aside sa trackpoint/mouse problem eh wala naman iba problem.

    Ok yung other formats. 3gp lang talaga.

    I haven't maximized my hardy set up yet anyway. I'm currently dual booting xp and ubuntu from 1 80gig sata. I'm planning to get another hard drive and install xp in one and ubuntu in the other.

    ^nope. I haven't tried wubi yet. Noong first time akong magtry ng Ubuntu Linux kasi, I had a friend hook me up. Bale siya yung nag setup at nag install ng first dual boot configuration ko. Tapos kinukulit ko lang siya ng tanong palagi hanggang naging familiar ako sa system.

    Natripan ko kasing subukan ang ubuntu edgy eft noong nakita ko ang isang pentium III na laptop na naka-dapper drake tapos may 3d desktop effects. :D

    k/ubuntu 8.04 and gOS space (based on 7.10). I use to be on ubuntu with gnome but my laptop's video doesn't like the updated driver and won't render compiz properly weird thing because 7.10 didn't have that problem.I use kubuntu for designing and gOS for fun.tried intrepid pero mas malala yung problema pati USB nagloloko.so balik sa 8.04.

    I actually love Ubuntu (I'm using Debian). I just wish i could figure out how to make my wireless card work. Broadcom doesn't provide drivers for linux, those bastards. And it would really be a blast if i could also figure out how to make Adobe CS3 work on this thing. I tried using the freeware alternatives but I don't think I could make the switch any time soon.

    Haaay, is there a "granny friendly" version for Ubuntu? or a computer shop that would make Ubuntu work for you?

    I've been wanting to use KDE. Kaso everytime I installed a KDE distro eh mmiss ko agad GNOME. Mas user-friendly for me kasi.
