Watching Happy Feet right now in HBO. The thought of having Happy Feet to be translated to a Live musical just crossed my mind. Well, they just did Cats so why can't Happy Feet be impossible to be turned into a Broadway or west end musical.
Then there are also some musical movie that I would like to see on stage like Moulin Rouge! and Across the Universe. On the other hand, some stage Musicals that I want to see on Movie are the likes of Miss Saigon and Les Miserables (musical). Avenue Q could also be interesting to translate into a film and I will be very curious on how will they execute the puppet characters.
How about you guys? Have any Musicals from stage you want to be adapted into a movie and vice versa?

"Nightmare Before Christmas" would be interesting to see on stage, or maybe "The Corpse Bride". I'm a sucker for Tim Burton's animations.
Or perhaps the very classic "Brave Little Toaster" on live stage. You know, the movie with the toaster, radio, vacuum cleaner and the electric blanket journeying through just to find their master (the one who owns them).
