  Can't you just back out from it? I think that's the best idea. I mean, whenever me and my friends decides to play DoTa (A game I'm not really good at) I usually chicken out.

  I don't play dota no more but back in my times I was the king of the creeps. I mean I was a supercreep. No creep can kill me, believe it!

  You want strategy? Just point, click, and kill... Chris is right though, refuse if you're on the losing side. That's another strategy..

  usually in these cases, an opposing player tries to "rush", meaning build cheap attackers in a short time. you should be aware of that. build up defenses especially towers. block every single path to your base. try to talk with your allies into helping you fend off any unwanted attackers. read basic guides, especially those that explain character classes from your chosen race so you'll know the appropriate counters. orcs and humans are the popular choices since they're versatile and have a good all-around feel. good luck.

  general tip: farm the sidecreeps and micro manage, love your units as every one of them counts. ups armor for tanks, damage for killers. love your hero and learn the proper uses of theirs skills.

  Tip for Human: 1st hero should be archmage, skill would be water elemental and briilliance,second hero, i go for mountain king,spam thunderclap and storm bolt. go with footmen as tanks backed by killer riflemen. you should have knights and gryphon riders late game. be sure to research armor for knights and damage for riiflemen, also animal husbandry and storm hammers. 3rd hero is optional.. priests are optionals,just micro your tanks.

  For Orcs: go with blademaster for pester power (windwalk to opponents base,kill some gold harvester except for gay nightelves of course) or far seer for easy farming.. either of the two is good for 1st hero. 2nd hero should be the chain healer guy, make sure to not let him enter the fray,reserve mana for heal. tanks would be grunts, troll berserkers for killing,support heal troll shaman, optional bloodlust,tauren (good tanks), wyverns.

  For Undead: very good at late game so you better turtle up. 1st hero, i highly recommend dreadlord for farming,and infernals can really turn the tide of the battle. support him with a deathkniht healer and aura. Exceptional tanks are abomination, killers would be crypt fiends. frostwyrms are precious but they are good.

  For gay nightelves: they are kinda hard to use because they have pathetic hp but they are good assasins. 1st hero,i go for warden, fan of knives and the poison skill. 2nd hero, i go for priestess for the aura. tanks are usually bears alternately druid (rejuv!) and bear form (the real tanks) with some huntress(tanklet with good damage). i still go for some archers as their my main anti-air,micro them on ground battles.

  i don't recommend merc heroes.

  for night elves - normally i used the demon hunter as my first hero the immolation work wonders with 2 supporting archers. just create your moonwells in front of the ancients...everytime your low on health, go back the moon wells then attack back. they're the fastest to recover !!

  mas mganda siguro kung ipractice nyo yung ability ng mga heros nyo for combo-attack... pick a hero that would help the team and not go for killing spree.

  woah.. thanks for the comments guys.. they will surely help a LOT..

  the first game (just a while ago) went out pretty bad for me.. i used the night elf race coz it's the only race available (4 teams, free-for-all).. since i'm a no brainer with this race, it took me quite some time to plan what to build.. this lead to early harrasments by the orc guys(the blademaster hero is a dick by killing all my wood wisps).. luckily, i got some time to recover and out of desperation, i quickly picked mirana as my first hero and the glaive throwers (about 10) to be my one and only platoon throughout the entire game.. i bought some blimps to carry my units.. my only plan is to unload all my units onto my enemy's base when all of his troops are on a clash.. i know that it is a shitty-ass move which eventually backfired when he used the mass teleport thing to bring back his troops to his base (i knew nothing about that item).. and basically, that is about it for me.. they all stormed out to my base to finish me off when suddenly, a connection problem occured :D it surely saved my ass coz it sabotaged the game.. we all got pissed off (not counting me, hehe) that's why we decided to re-schedule the game some other time at some other computer shop.. so right now, i will be studying your guides for the next games ahead.. hehehe

  just a quick question: how do you counter the birds of the human as a night elf? im curious coz my friend trained a horde of those birds against us and it turned out to be very effective..

  hypogriffs are night elves most effective anti-air. yep,gryphon riders with storm hammers are really a pain in the neck.hypogriffs can load archers if your enemy's aerial team gets wiped. for undead, gargoyles are the best anti air. for humans,gyrocopters. for orcs, the unstable concotion guys.

  an alternate tactic for nightelves is tank 2 mountain giants, alternately tauting while archers or huntress fire away. i still go for the warden for 1st hero though,fan of knives is really great. if you have slowers like dryads or maybe a secondary keeper of the grove,get blink to move in and out of combat,blink in fan, blink out.

  who's got a GG account? let's try playing against each other (be it DoTA or Warcraft).. I'm MarioOzawa in GG,hehe.
