-as much as possible, don't use the frikin' on-board flash.
- try not to shoot outdoors at 11am to 4pm. If you absolutely have to, shoot under shade (cloudy days are absolutely marvelous). it would help when your subject is under a plain white umbrella, colored once tend to leave a cast.
-shoot in manual
-shoot in raw.
:)
me heart noir! dunno why..mebbeh because it's black [and white]..muhahahah!!
thanks
one more thing, why raw?
RAW is loss-less, meaning it doesn't go under compression and lose details unlike jpg. And Photoshop has a nifty way of editing camera raw without you actually fully opening the app. But be sure to stock on memory cards though, RAW is pretty hefty when it comes to space.
i will definitely try this
i dont shoot too many yet so i'd just stick with my 1G mc for now
thank you very much

wow....
thank god this is the header pic now... my parents thought i was surfing a porn page coz of the playboy thing in the header minutes ago...
sir, what type of camera and lens did you use for this shot? :)
^400d
i can't remember if its the 24-70L or the 50mm :p basta hindi zoom, kasi naalala ko maliit lang yung kwarto sa place.
is it a canon? baka sir pede nyo ko turuan or bigyan ng tips. I just got a new toy and want to fully utilize it. 40D but only with a puny 15-85mm lens. I'm the one who left the comment on your multiply :)
^dont mean to butt in but yep, that is a canon. 15-85? maybe its the 18-55 or the 17-85 IS usm zoom?
^^Muffin in L Territory yaman.
bah! a lens in a lens. as long as you know how to use it there is no such thing as a puny lens... yours is a midrange by the way, which is really a good range for a walk around lense. kit lens? meaning did it come with the 40d? i know quite a few people who could shoot great with that thing.
tips.. hmm, read your manual, know the basics.. and dont get hung up with the technology and shiny new accessories that goes with that freakishly expensive new hobby of yours. atupagin mo muna pagkuha ng magandang picture kesa magsplurge ka sa gears.
it helps to focus yourself on a specific kind of photography you like taking (landscape, fashion, photo journ...) after choosing, get good at it :)
yup kasama po sya sa camera. I'm reading the manual during my free time, and trying out some shots at the same time. I write down the ISO level aparture and shutter settings; change settings and compare. I would like to know about the relationship between ISO, Shutter and Aparture :D
@ Areflexia : saw some of your post ; great shot btw.
@ Muffin : are some of your pictures post processed? :)
lightroom is da bomb. :D
so it is :D
