Benicio del Toro, an avid fan of the original movie and a collector, would play the role of Lawrence Talbot in this movie remake of Wolf Man. Lawrence returns home to reconcile with his father, Jonathan Talbot played by Anthony Hopkins, after the disappearance of his brother. Lawrence hunts down the murderer, and is bitten by a werewolf and the curse is passed on.
