exactly, anyone interested in greyhoundz' 3 albums, i'd be uploading my stash tonight, most probably via rapidshare but sendspace is looking nice

2008 album from the R&B superstar. Here I Stand is Usher's follow-up to his history-making, nine-times platinum-selling Confessions. The album tells the story of growth: triumphant, reflective, somewhat defiant and it marks a new period in Usher's life and creative expression. Here I Stand finds Usher working with some of the best producers and writers around including Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupre, Dre & Vidal and Dream & Tricky Stewart. Features the first single 'Love In The Club'. Laface.

Lil Wayne's MySpace page received over a million unique views this week giving him the #1 Top Artist profile on the site. The video is currently in heavy rotation at MTV, MTV2, BET's Rap City and MTV Jams, where it appeared as the Jam Of The Week. The "Lollipop" video is also in medium rotation at MTV Hits and on BET's main playlist. Lil Wayne will also appear on BET's annual Spring Bling and will be only the 2nd artist in the event's history to perform for an entire episode!
Since the release of his last CD, the platinum selling Tha Cater II, Lil Wayne has guest appearances on over 70 songs for other artists including Fat Joe's 2008 Grammy nominated single "Make It Rain," DJ Khaled's "We Taking Over," and Wyclef Jeans' "Sweetest Girl." He also released a duet CD with Bryan "Birdman" Williams titled Like Father, Like Son in 2006 which was a critical and commercial success.

The late Tupac Shakur's second album recalls the densely sampled sonic strengths of Public Enemy's Fear of a Black Planet, except here the bass lines are cranked and the sly samples tend to the gentler touches of Motown and Curtis Mayfield than James Brown. This contrast between hard and soft is appropriate because Shakur is as likely to sweetly honor black sisters ("Keep Ya Head Up") as he is to get angry in your face. Consequently, even with guest spots including the Ices Cube and T., 2Pac's strong raps remain this joint's real shining star.

True to the title of his #1 debut album, R&B superstar Keith Sweat is out to Make It Last Forever. Two decades after his initial breakthrough, Sweat’s new album Just Me more than proves he’s still the master of the slow jam, delivering deep soul grooves in the tradition of his classic hits—and sounding right in sync with 21st century R&B. Harlem-born Sweat first rose to fame at the height of the new jack swing era, and Teddy Riley, his celebrated producer from back in the day, collaborates with Sweat on the Just Me track "The Floor." Other highlights include "Butterscotch," featuring Athena Cage (who vocalized with Sweat on his #1 R&B mega-hit "Nobody"), "Love You Better" featuring Keyshia Cole, "Suga Suga Suga" with Paisley Bettis, and the album-opening "Somebody" featuring Chris "F.L.O" Conner.

It's not because of the irresistible banger that is "Kiss Kiss," and it's not because he's rounded up a guest roster that reaches across the hip-hop universe and pulls T-Pain, Big Boi, and Kanye into orbit: Exclusive solidifies Chris Brown's rise in modern R&B circles because it's a tight, stylish album that reeks of major-career potential. Yes, he's straddling the grown and sexy thing even though he's not yet out of his teens (see "With You," "You," and "I Wanna Be"), and yes, he's pulled in a lot of different directions by a lot of top-tier producers, Scott Storch, the Underdogs, and Will.i.am among them. But the thing that'll grab longtime R&B listeners about Exclusive is the way it hangs together--Brown can belt or go breezy with the best of them, and he doesn't strain for credulity even when faced with lyrics more suited to R. Kelly's wised-up vocal caliber (see "Take You Down"). Last go-round, on his debut, Brown was a hotshot. This time he's just hot

Tramar Dillar AKA Flo Rida is not too surprisingly a native of Florida (atleast it's a playful name!). Flo Rida made a few mixtapes and eventually appeared on Dj Khaled's last album til he was eventually rewarded a solo album. I doubt no one escaped his major hit single, "Low" from Dj Montay with T-Pain. It peaked at #1 on the billboard charts and stayed there for 11 weaks, a record this year. The song itself is the lazy and repetitive party song simular to T-Pain's "Buy U a Drank" and Soulja Boy's "Crunk That", good to dance to when you go clubbin but nothing you want to hear in your life again 2 months after, Thanks to of Lil Jon's inventions of Crunk it set a new standard to how low music could get and still get airplay. However, What differs between Flo Rida and those other two is that they gave more of the same on their albums. Songs that were produced by the same people (themselves) while Flo Rida is lucky to get backed up by some of the best producers in the game like Timbaland, JR Rotem and Will.i.am and some high profile guests aswell like Fergie, Sean Kingston and Trey Songz, so atleast some of the songs here stand out while there's plenty of crunk sounding songs aswell. The best thing with this album however, is Flo Rida's versability cause he tackles more diffrent issues then what you normally find on rap albums, not just standard club songs like "Low". So, can we write him off as another one hit wonder or does he got more to give?.

The rest of the disc falls into step, offering its share of bedroom ballads and lithe, groove-propelled jams. McKnight weathered a divorce in the early 2000s, and one can hear its aftermath in his lyrical concerns, and in the general vibe of the album, which is both deeply romantic and slightly melancholic. Nonetheless, there's no shortage of sex appeal in the bouncing tracks, or in McKnight's always-expressive singing.
Not only did contemporary R&B vocalist Brian McKnight move to Warner Brothers for 2006's TEN, but he collaborated with Tim & Bob, one of the highest profile studio teams in the R&B game, for several of the album's tracks. Among these are the standout cuts "Used to Be My Girl," a smooth, sensuous confession of lost love, and the equally smooth and heart-tugging "Unhappy Without You." Tim & Bob's particular spin on lush, vibey production is immediately noticeable, but it is McKnight's emotive vocal performances that really stand out.

Anyone who cares about the state of beats will want this soundtrack companion to the Jessica Alba-starring hip-hop saga. The inventiveness of rhythm and sound on Honey’s first half dozen or so tracks makes for its own drama and should even provide some hope to those who bemoan the genre's recent lack of boundary pushing. Missy Elliott’s "Hurt Sumthin'" is a fitting start to the CD; it’s another of her and Timbaland’s forays into minor-key funk-exotica and a match for anything on her own albums. Rodney Jerkins’ setting for Blaque’s independent-women manifesto "I’m Good" stomps its percussive way to the top of the must-play list, while further offerings from Mark Ronson (with guests including Ghostface Killah) and the duo of Erick Sermon and Redman keep the progressive-party feel going. The disc’s second half winds down into more standard-issue ballad fare, but even then, the flow feels correct - a natural winding down from what the first sizzling cuts began.

When the most exciting producer in pop music himself puts out a CD, the thrill is in the discovery: The world may have already suspected that Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, and a small army of other singers owed 75% of their fame to the stockpile of skittering beats Timbaland built and then graciously set them upon, but here's a chance to prove it. Or it might have been in less welcoming hands. Shock Value is a far-reaching and ambitious disc; a masterpiece, even, in its own way. But it's not at all self-centered. If there's a point being put across here, it's that Timbaland came by your vote as behind-the-scenes musical man of the hour honestly: pair him with Fall Out Boy or the Strokes, and he will not only provide tracks that surprise you by maintaining their rock 'n' roll integrity, he will also convince you that shimmer's role in rock music has, to now, been tragically misguided and miniscule. Re-team him with Timberlake and Furtado (for the near-flawless track "Give It to Me") and he will again trade vocal bites, but they will still be nibbly, not voracious. In a CD full of experiments and puzzles (why is Elton John just piano-playing, not singing? And how did the L.A. band One Republic end up on this disc?) a single truth emerges: Timbaland's taste is impeccable, but his judgment is even better. Shock Value, by virtue of its swirly beats and mesmerizing rhythms, will bring him a smidge closer to the spotlight. But because it's a disc of collaborations, he'll retain the shadowy-genius reputation that precedes him, and that he so richly deserves.

Pre-loaded with a couple well-established (meaning played into the ground) hits from 2007 -- Flo Rida and T-Pain's "Low," Trey Songz and Plies' "Can't Help But Wait" -- the soundtrack to Step Up 2: The Streets is, unsurprisingly, a mixed bag of pop-oriented rap and R&B featuring second-rate tracks from well-known stars (Missy Elliott, Enrique Iglesias, T-Pain), follow-ups from relative newcomers attempting to maintain and increase momentum (Cherish, Cassie), and a whole bunch of up-and-comers with early material (KC, Bayje, Brit & Alex, Sophia Fresh). Among the new tracks, there's a handful of highlights: "Is It You" is Cassie's most "pop" song yet, as light as a feather, reliant mostly on a simple combination of handclaps and a fuzzy guitar; with "Killa," Cherish seem OK with continuing to invite Ciara comparisons, though it's their best track yet; "Say Cheese," from in-heat-but-collected R&B singer KC, is the disc's most pleasant surprise, a Danja production providing several subtle twists and turns (and just the right amount of weirdness).

GTAIV the game has an incredible soundtrack that includes a wide range of good music. There ought to be a boxed set with a CD covering each musical radio station. But since there isn't, I looked to this soundtrack cd to give a good representation of the games' music, and I don't think it lives up to potential. For one thing, I would have hoped for at least one selection from each radio station. Some of the stations are not even represented here. Second, for the stations they do cover, in my opinion they didn't necessarily choose the best songs from those stations. Some of the tracks that are included really do belong here, like Soviet Connection (the theme song), Vagabond (very familiar, because of the TV commercials), and Stand Up Jamrock (definitely the best track on the radio station it represents). But then there are some jaw dropping omissions. Probably the most noteworthy ommission is Arm In Arm Shy Child Mix by The Boggs. This is another track highly familiar from GTAIV commercials and one of the first songs that would come to mind when people think about the music of GTAIV. Listen to a clip and if you've seen the commercials you will recognize it, and associate it with the game, immediately.

All the elements that made this rap star great are already in place on this authoritative debut, released when he was not even yet of drinking age. "Young Black Male" and "Trapped" exemplify his more overtly political style, later abandoned when he signed up with the Death Row label; "Crooked Ass Nigga" is the kind of violent gangsta-rap tune that made 2Pac a bogeyman to the genre's foes. On "I Don't Give a Fuck," Shakur keeps his humor up while conveying the oppressive reaction a young black male encounters while performing the most mundane of tasks: buying some chips. "Brenda's Got a Baby" is a cautionary tale that shows Shakur at his poetic best: evocative and sympathetic, never condescending. The energetic production by 2Pac's Digital Underground pals is fully focused on unleashing his strengths rather than simply rehashing the successful DU sound.

I first heard greyhoundz through a dormmate. He had this mixed CD left on the stereo which the pakialamero in mei played. It contained various tracks from both foreign (poison well, system of a down, papa roach) and local bands (youth, yano, wolfgang). But when i heard Pigface, pakshet, talagang mapapa headbang ka sa sarap, kahit ayaw mo pang magwala parang pinopossess ka.
Enjoy!

Kelly Clarkson, kindly step aside: the title "Because of You" now belongs to Ne-Yo, who has done things with it no one with a pair of hands to clap will soon forget. And not just on the phenomenally appealing first single. Throughout Because of You, the sophomore disc by the songwriter responsible for such monster hits as Beyoncé's "Irreplaceable" and Rihanna's "Unfaithful," a flutter-voiced fluidity--the kind seldom heard since Michael Jackson's Off the Wall days--reigns. Jay-Z makes room to let it rip on "Crazy," and Jennifer Hudson wraps herself around it with restraint on "Leaving Tonight," a lovers' quarrel that could hold its own against anything Marilyn McCoo & Billy David Jr. cared to toss off in their heyday. If it's MJ who's lingered in Ne-Yo's ear longest, Prince hasn't gone silent, either: echoes poke up on the far-out "Sex with My Ex." Elsewhere, shades of contemporaries such as Nelly and Diddy show through. Overall, though, Ne-Yo's flammable hooks, flirty vibe, and flawless vocals reveal an R&B genius in the making. If the talent bar for up-and-comers is set impossibly high in the coming years, chances are it will be all because of him.

Christina Milian is a multi-talented phenomenon whose resume includes film, television, theater and music. With starring roles in two upcoming feature films this year and hard at work on her highly-anticipated debut album, Milian is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm.
You know her from the infectious single "AM To PM" which hit the top position on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart in 2001, yet that was just a taste of what this multi-faceted young woman is capable of. An accomplished singer, songwriter, dancer, TV personality and actress, Christina has become a star of international proportions. Shes gone platinum, written hits for a slew of international acts, hosted MTVs 'Wannabes,' enjoyed two Top 5 hits on the UK charts, recorded a smash that was #1 on RadioDisney for 12 weeks, had roles in several feature films and brought her intoxicating pop/R&B grooves world wide.
