On a serious note, I heard Kobe is flirting with Europe. He said for 40 million a year he could prolly ditch the Lakers to play in Europe. Josh Childress and Jannero Pargo already did it.
I think the Euroleague madness would benefit the mediocre to mid level NBA players at best. Look at the Childress deal, he's getting about 20 million for 3 years tax free to play in Europe while in the Hawks he was supposed to get 33 million for 5 years + tax. I think for NBA players, specially the mid level ones... Europe = More playing time and more money.
