He was in Deep Impact. :D But imho, playing Red in Shawshank Redemption was one if his best roles.
I still haven't seen Driving Miss Daisy.

After this close brush , it's never too late or too early to count the blessings brought in by this man. Here are some things I'd love to remember him by:
1. The way Sloan blurted out motherf****r in "Wanted", you'd think it's just a taxonomic classification for poor, misguided Wesley. I'd never thought megalomaniacal thugs can sound that decent.
2. Recalling how he handled things in "Deep Impact", you'd think he'd still make a hell of a lot more better president than Barak Obama.
3. He whupped George Burns' dead ass, playing God in "Bruce/Evian Almighty". Whupped it so bad, you'd forgive the asshole who ran things in the Old Testament, seeing Him in a different light as a Joker who had a great time playing pranks on people who take their ancestry way too seriously.
4. "He wuz there wen I wuz lurning to reed"...back in the days when Snuffalofagus was Big Bird's alleged imaginary friend,he was the Easy Reader on the other program.

Shawshank was one of his best.
Now on a different note.
He was also rumored to have been playing catch the monkey while driving , resulting in a recent car accident with a female companion - he must have been caught with his pants down as he announced his divorce application with long time wife just days after the accident.
@spidamang: Thanks for the correction. Yes I also saw him in Shawshank, I just haven't figured out something witty to write about it.
@angtipaklong: Do you mean that he might have suffered mo re than a broken arm. elbow and shoulder? Remember what happened to Mrs. Garp's lover? Oh, poor man....
Know what, I looked up "Electric Company" in Wikipedia, and was surprised to find Bill Cosby among the first season regular cast. I guess only Morgan Freeman stuck to my memory.
