WTF!!!
Here is the news.
"About 10 minutes ago i got the text i was hoping would never come. The Eheads concert is cancelled.
Because the Department of Health (DOH) refuses to issue a permit, they've been left with no choice but to cancel the concert. We know that they've been having the hardest time to make this happen because of all the laws and what not, and i guess those troubles have gone far enough and to the point that they've just decided to let it go and not have the show instead.
This is a very sad day in Filipino Music. Thousands, perhaps millions of people have been talking about this once in a lifetime experience for nearly a month now, and without anyone being able to confirm anything absolutely solid, the buzz has just gotten louder and louder. I wonder what kind of monstrous noises we'll be hearing now that the concert has been called off? But what a sad day indeed. People from abroad have purchased tickets to come home just for this one reason. T-shirts have been made. Countless playlists on iPods and radio stations have all paid tribute to the Eheads as a result of their One Night Only Reunion..and now its cancelled. Shit."

ano kaya kung pumunta tayo lahat sa CCP on aug. 30 para lang magcelebrate for Eheads. para lang mapakita na may marlboro man o wala, tuloy pa din ang rak-rakan!

I say hoax. Until a reliable source like Philmusic.com or respectable news sites like Inquirer (The one who reported that the concert is indeed happening) I won't buy it.
I can't believe how gullible you guys are, since when did the Department of Health began distributing permits for concerts? If so, then I guess most of the Red horse sponsored concerts must be freakin' canceled.

Friday ng madaling-araw so technically Sabado na 4:01 am. I came home to the batcave and was greeted by some news about a blog (nope, not the April Boys Reunion- he's cool) but by Raims' Harry Potter- inspired piece of sorts regarding the you- know- what. The guy has all the reasons in the world to say his piece. So I called up Mr.X to ask for the lowdown but he won't pick up, tulog na malamang, mabuti pa sya.
Last night I called Miss Y para itanong kung ano ang mangyayari and she said the decision will be relayed to us on the next rehearsal date which was not today and will not be tomorrow. Kaya RELAX muna kayo.

tuloy man o hindi... where is my fucking invitation? last year pa ako member ng Marlboro Red List so hindi halatang kaya lang ako ng member because of the Eheads Concert..

Maybe it's the "tobacco ban" bawal kasi mag advertise nito you know (also banned in any sporting event like motor spots and others) baka dumami ang kabataan na malulong sa sigarilio. Even Ely himself suffered a heart problem. So mejo conflicting kung susuportahan ng E-heads ang Tobacco na allegedly nag sponsor sa concert dapat nila.
Bottom linel if they really love their fans perhaps they would do it for FREE or fund raising for a cause, without any Huge sponsor.

It's not the tobacco company's fault if they are organizing an Eheads concert.
There was already no Eheads to begin with. They made this happen.
Now, they are gone.

I am scanning more invites on my multiply but of course we’re prioritizing the ladies and some of the guys. Cmon suck up to me some more hahaha joke lang.
Yesterday’s rehearsal audio was recorded for technical peeps. All went well, somewhere in the middle an announcement from the guys (in my book, they are the unspoken heroes of this gig. I am a musician. I smoke. They provide gigs. They are from U.P. and one of them was my blockmate in Philosophy) was was made. It was bad news and good news.
Most importantly the concert is pushing through at the set date and venue.
